Duke Nukem Redux

This a complete reconstruction of the classic Duke Nukem platforming game from 1991, reprogrammed from scratch in Game Maker v2024.6.1.208. The assets remain the same, but music from Duke Nukem 3D has been added. Tested on Windows 10.

The game has been enhanced for modern computers and modern play. Features include:

-All 30 original levels from episode 1, 2 and 3 included
-Modern resolution support and modern setting menu
-Co-op play (experimental)
-Keyboard support for P1 and P2, configurable
-Controller support for P1 and P2, configurable
-Choose classic style HUD, widescreen classic, or fullscreen modern gameplay
-No more jerky scrolling from the original, smooth scrolling & camera
-Unlockable Extra Mode which adds some randomization options featuring new enemy variants

Around 180 hours of work went into this project. I consider this project open source, credit me, but otherwise do whatever you want with this. Game is using upscaled assets and could easily be modified for a HD look.
